We’re absolutely delighted to announce the appointment of Siobhan Monks as Senior Stylist at Sutherlands! Siobhan started hairdressing straight out of school and has been perfecting her hair game for past 18-years. We caught up with Siobhan to find out why she loves working in our industry…
What’s your current favourite style? I’m a firm fan of the bang-on-trend shag do (we love that one too!). I love working with the razor to create that chic look with textured shaggy layers.
What do you love most about hairdressing? I love how a different cut or colour can completely transform a person. It’s that instant confidence you can give to a cherished client. You can make someone feel like a new person and think, “I did that”. It’s a wonderful feeling.
What do you like to do out of work? I have three kids and we’ve recently found a hobby that we all love – paddle boarding! We also enjoy nothing more than being out in the fresh air, walking and exploring on the beach.
